Product Description

(paraphrased and adjusted from the description currently on the Kindle website)

Whatever happened when Atlantis disappeared?  Did all the Atlanteans just die?  Did they make their ways ashore and blend into the population?  And what population might that have been?  Man was barely walking on two legs when the legendary Atlantis disappeared.  Maybe they all went to the top of a mountain and ruled as gods and goddesses?  Would that be in character?  Who were they, before and after the fall of Atlantis?  Perhaps they were overseers of the new planet and its newer animals, including the human ones.  Perhaps they had a conscience and felt they still had a job to do.  Perhaps they did it well – so well that they ignored the eventual end of the Ice Age and the melting and final destruction of their home land?  Did this remarkable homeland simply melt away until only vestiges of the former land ringed the various "pillars" and were probably Atlantic Ocean archipelagoes themselves.

Perhaps those who were left in a number of strategically placed outposts spread across the earth decided to continue their primary duties…to oversee the population and guide them through the years of development.  Welcome to the Empress of Cadiz.  This group, began its established mission around 10,000 century BC, and was founded by the survivors of Atlantis with the concept that they needed to continue their duties of overseeing the population, and watch carefully the idealists, who had the propensity to change the population and its growth and development in major ways both positive and negative.

For some reason, in the year 2010 AD, the organization determined that it was time for the powers-that-be, in the form of the CIA of the United States of America, to be apprised of the existence of their group so long in the background, so long in obscurity.  They selected a member of the Cadiz Operation they wanted to be in charge of the operation, and they selected a retired Empress to share the 12,000 year-old society with modern man.  That agent was a man named Jack Cullen, who was a leading Intelligence Officer, concentrating his professional efforts in the realm of  investigating possible subversive organizations around the world that would threaten global peace and particularly the peace of the United States.

The member of the Cadiz organization whose duty it was to "spill the beans" was a retired Empress named Blaylis.  This unlikely duo, one contemporary agent, and one former Empress, met in a rented mansion in New York state and proceeded to inadvertently fall in love, with one unfortunate hitch – he was dying of cancer but ironically she had a way to save him, but it meant breaking the laws she had sworn to protect and defend.  She struggled with her dilemma as he struggled with real love for the first time in his life and had such a short time to enjoy it.  And enjoy it they did.... with remarkable consequences.
