Averil Binoski, Every Woman's Child is multi-faceted and represents the unusual, the usual and a combination of both.  There is intrigue in a contemporary sense, and an historical aspect to the happenstances surrounding a young man of High School age who locates to a Bucks County, Pennsylvania town from New York City.  There is a quality of coincidence and a quality of random elements to the story, but it basically involved a young man and, of course, a young woman, but she is involved in another world.  See what it is.
