The Almighty Barnaby Cave was a slightly distressing 2-act play since it resulted from my experiencing the travails of a couple I knew at Penn State in the 1970s.  Their relationship was based on a form of tension that moved back and forth like they were wrestling with the reason for the friendship rather than just enjoying it.  Not all relationships need to saw back and forth; some can just be and that's it.  The Almighty Barnaby Cave is one of those dramas, but this one, slightly warped, but not bent too far, I found appropriate for the time, and I believe it is timely today.  Human nature has not changed much over the centuries.  It involves a gun.  See what you think.
