The Fishermen of Krondar.  Krondar is an interesting planet, and it is mostly water.  Those who make a living on this world either fish for a special material that coats the noses of deep-sea creatures or support the efforts of those who do the dangerous work involved.  There are also elements of intrigue who don't want business to be "as usual," and as a result, conflicts occur including a contest set up by a conflict character and his girlfriend.  This contest involves fishing ship and fishing crew against fishing ship and fishing crew for rights and advantages.  The race is dramatic and involves the fishing ship, Flyer, a remarkable vehicle with its "picker" and its hero.  The contest takes place, and the adventure beginnings.  It is fun; it is action, and of course there is love and romance.
