The Galloping Cow was originally written by one of my daughters, when she was very young, as an exercise in creativity for her home school curriculum, with a sidebar purpose of having her write to see if she had any hope of being a writer.  She chose another profession, so I asked her if I could expand on her story, which was quite innovative and charmingly good.  She said "yes," and here it is.  I liked the premise in the first place, and enjoyed producing the larger version.  In this little piece, meet a young cow who runs with or without the permission of the herd...because she must.
