The Last Bubble was a very hard piece to write since it involves the tragic loss of many men and two American submarines through no fault of their own.  I was in the middle of writing 22Tango, which involves, in part, submarines, and this story was presented to me by a member of a crew, long lost.  I wrote it for him and for the others.  It is quite moving and quite awakening.  I'm not sure you will be able to enjoy this, but you might want to experience it.
