The Vadyan Ring is a 3-act play written in the 1980s about a planet called Thiar, whose civilization has self-destructed, but not before establishing a community and society called Vadya. It was designed to be Utopian, but it became distorted over the centuries, and its original purpose, to build a new world, failed. Instead of a Utopia, the Thiarians inadvertently created a Queendom lorded over by women who used males, instead of reigning with men. Even the sons born in Vadya were subjected to a diabolical end, but not after Pontair uses the Vadyan Ring to reach Earth and bring back a man named Chris. He was designed to be her man and not that of the Vadyan women, and this creates a dilemma that brings them all to the ancient city of Thiaron, dead for all intents and purposes until the Vadyan Ring is applied, then a whole new world opens up, but not necessarily the one they expected.
